Homosexuality |
| Ah yes, homosexuality is a
big deal in the Gundam Wing fan universe. Let me start off by
saying that homosexuality does not bother me. It doesn't bother
me, but I don't participate in it. For all those 1x2, 3x4 (etc), I
respect your opinions. You have just as much right to say that
Heero and Duo make a good couple, as I do when I say that Dorothy and
Quatre belong together. I know that my opinion is about a hundred
times less popular than yours, but that doesn't make it wrong. If
you feel that Quatre and Rashid are soul mates, and want to sing it to
the world, then I'm not going to say anything to discourage you to.
I've read shounen-ai fics (and even very hentai yaoi). Some of them are quite well written. So no, I don't hate homosexuality. I respect it like any other point of view. As for yuri and shoujo-ai, I like it less. I don't know why, but two girls is just unsettling to me. I'm still not going to flame you to internet hell for your beliefs like so people do. Anyway, I'm rambling again, so I'll stop now. |
Anti (Hate) Pages |
| If you have an anti-page,
then you are one of the lowest forms of stupidity in my opinion. I
don't mean it to be mean, really, I don't. I just think that if
you make a hate page to a fictional character, then you have absolutely
no life. I should know, I made one. It was against Pan, of
DBZ/GT (The Bad Bread). I hated Pan with a passion, I still
do. My site lasted all of five days. And no, I did not shut
it down because people flamed me. I got zero comments on it.
I decided that I had better things to do with my time. I still
hate Pan, and I think she's a stupid, annoying slut. I know of
several people who agree with me.
I say that if you have an anti page, then you are a stupid, bored, jealous and meaningless little individual. If you make a page all in jest, then you are an exception to this rule. You're still stupid, but at least you don't waste your time hating a glob of paint. The only good anti-page I've found is Wufei Sucks! |

| I'm not a nice person. During my brief stay in the DBZ section of fanfiction.net, two of my three personas were hated so bad that I got death threats from certain people. (What I did was very immature. I flamed myself basically, and people would threaten me and in the same breath praise my other name. It was all quite amusing though.) Generally, if something truly deserves to be criticized, then flame away. Don't do anything halfway. If the person is really grating your nerves by goading you into a fight, give them a piece of your mind. I have one moral about flaming. Flame people for what they do, not what they believe. If a yaoi extremist was trying to hack your non-yaoi site because you didn't worship their 3x4 views, then flame away for what they are doing to you, not that they love Trowa and Quatre together. Sexism |
| Some might consider me a sexist. I just have a lower view of the male race. Female superiority! This seldom comes out in my images and fics. When it does, I have it clearly labeled. I guess I'm a hypocrite. I have no problem with women above men, but sexism in favor of men really pisses me off. |
